Friend, I know that Thanksgiving feels different this year.
I recognize how difficult it is for so many who must remain isolated from family, loved ones, and friends during this season.
So I'm reaching out today to make it clear that we are all in this together, and that we can each do our part to help those who are struggling. It can be as simple as reaching via text or Zoom to someone you haven't talked to in a while! And for those of you who are in a position to financially support others, there are some food banks doing incredible and necessary work right here in VA-10:
Winchester
Highland Food Pantry

Loudoun County

As I spend today with Andrew and the boys (and Wanda and Lady Bird), I'm reflecting on all I can still be thankful for -- big and small.
I'm thankful that we got to celebrate the election of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, and that we could experience the euphoria of the moment together. I'm thankful that we've been able to relax a little bit more since then, take in the joy of pictures of the National Zoo's baby panda, and get hooked watching The Queen's Gambit.
I'm thankful for the poll workers across the country who made sure our democracy was able to function in the face of historic challenges. I'm thankful for the doctors and nurses who continue to save lives. And I'm thankful for everyone who, through simple acts of kindness and consideration, has demonstrated the shared values that make our national fabric strong.
Wishing you and your loved ones a safe and happy Thanksgiving,
Jennifer
