Thanksgiving is a time to reflect on the year and give thanks for all that has lifted us up, given us hope, and inspired us. Our national staff, Academy Directors, peer mentors, university partners, and greater community have shown dedication beyond measure, serving our youth to the best of their ability despite much uncertainty. But it has been the amazing scholars and alumni we serve that have truly been the root of our gratitude. Their perseverance and fortitude in the face of a lack of basic needs, personal loss, and placement upheaval have been astonishing to watch. We are humbled to have the opportunity to serve them, witness their triumphs, and guide them towards a future brighter than their wildest dreams.
