Happy Thanksgiving, John!

Our celebrations may be smaller this year, but our hearts are surging with gratitude this Thanksgiving. These are difficult times in our country and in our world, but there is much to feel thankful and hopeful about.

Our country has just elected an experienced, cool-headed, compassionate, honest, capable leader who will help restore all that is good in our country, work to improve those things that aren't, and repair our relationships across the globe. With new leadership, and with immunizations on the near horizon, we can truly look forward to moving past COVID and getting America back to work and normal life. We owe a tremendous debt of gratitude to the researchers and scientists who have given us the tools to fight this pandemic, the frontline workers who put themselves in danger every day, and the healthcare workers who risk their own health and their families' to preserve ours.

I want you to know how grateful I am for YOU -- this grassroots team who helped us win again in Washington's 8th District and protect our Democratic House majority. Your support this year has meant so much to me and I am honored to continue serving you in Congress.

So while we may not be able to celebrate Thanksgiving as usual, surrounded by friends and family this year, I hope you'll join me in taking a few moments to celebrate our hard work and be grateful for all that we've accomplished together and for all of the other blessings around the corner.

We have a lot of work ahead of us, but I know that with you by my side, we can make real progress for families in Washington State and across the country. And I won't ever take that for granted.

Have a safe and happy Thanksgiving,

Kim
