Wishing everyone a safe and happy Thanksgiving. Janet and I both consider this one of our favorite holidays, full of good food and great company. Even though this year we are only cooking for the two of us, we are still looking forward to talking with our kids and grandkids later this afternoon.
Though it's hard for us all to be celebrating differently and without our family and loved ones, this is a really important part of keeping us and our communities safe and healthy as Coronavirus cases spike.
Today, we are taking stock of all that we have. I continue to be thankful for our essential workers who risk their lives everyday to keep us safe and I am thankful that my family is safe and healthy. And I am forever humbled to have the opportunity to serve you and our district in Congress.
