John, It has been a difficult year for many of our friends and neighbors. Folks have faced significant struggles and loss during this pandemic and recession. In the midst of these challenging times, there is still so much that Annie and I are grateful for. We are thankful for the health care workers and first responders who are fighting to keep us healthy and safe, the grocery clerks, bus drivers, and other front line workers who help us meet our daily needs, and the researchers and scientists hard at work to find the treatments and vaccines to end this pandemic. We are grateful to live in a community that cares for those in need and where neighbors look out for one another. And we give thanks for friends, family, and supporters like you.
We have reasons to be hopeful about the future. There is an end to this pandemic in sight. We will get through this crisis together and we continue to work together to build a stronger, more prosperous future for all Americans. | ||
