Happy Thanksgiving!
It's been a tough year. Between the pandemic, social injustice, natural disasters, and political divide, many people are wondering what to be grateful for this year.
But despite the many challenges we've seen, the acts of kindness, compassion, and humility that I've witnessed across this country have made me incredibly thankful.
Communities have come together for food and clothing drives. Neighbors have let neighbors crash at their place because they could no longer afford to pay rent. Essential workers have put their lives on the line every day to keep our country healthy, safe, and provided for. Generous donors have anonymously contributed to everyday people in need of a boost. Protesters have united to speak out against systemic injustice. Voters cast their ballots and participated in our democracy in record numbers.
Sometimes, it's easy to feel helpless or hopeless. But just remember that there are people out there who care. That is what I am most thankful for this year. The love, the positivity, the hope, the compassion.
May you enjoy your day!
