We need your help to keep campaigning for a nuclear-free world

Our income is dropping just when we need it most. Please donate ([link removed]) to CND today so we can keep campaigning for a nuclear-free world.

Dear Friend,

This week, Boris Johnson announced a massive increase in spending on the military. In the midst of a pandemic and an economic crisis, the government is planning to freeze the pay of key workers whilst spending billions on military hardware.

This is why we need to be campaigning more urgently than ever for a new vision of society: one in which healthcare, education and clean energy are what we spend money on, not weapons of mass destruction.

However, CND's income has dipped at this critical time, and unless we can raise vital funds we may be forced to cut back on some of our activities just when they are needed most. Please, if you can, help us campaign for a safer, saner world by donating to our winter appeal ([link removed]) .

For us to start cutting back now will be a huge setback for our movement. I hope I can count on your support - it will help ensure that momentum is not lost in this time of enormous upheaval.
In peace,
Kate Hudson
General Secretary
P.S. With your help we may be able to fund all the work we need to. Please, if you can, donate today ([link removed]) .
