From my family to yours, I want to wish you a very Happy Thanksgiving!

While today’s celebration may be different, the reason behind it remains the same: to give thanks to God for the blessings he has given us, and to spend quality time with the people we love.

This year was a tough one for our state and country, but we still have a lot to be thankful for.

Personally, I was moved by how Oklahomans persevered and found ways to help one another. Our communities united and rose to the occasion. Our healthcare workers, educators, and other essential workers helped us to press on. And our families provided a much-needed source of light and love.

It’s for these reasons that I remain optimistic about Oklahoma’s future, because when we are united, we are successful. And I know that in the days ahead, we will continue to succeed as one.
