Friend,​

From myself to you, I'd like to wish you a happy, and most importantly, a safe Thanksgiving.

Today, I'm keeping the more than 250,000 Americans we've lost to COVID-19 in my thoughts, while thinking of all the families who are missing a loved one this Thanksgiving and the countless more who've made the selfless and difficult decision to stay home to keep their communities healthy.

But even with so many challenges facing us this year, I'm thankful.

I'm thankful for the essential workers, the healthcare professionals, the mutual aid volunteers, and the millions of Americans who helped secure a brighter, safer future for our country at the polls.

Time and again we have risen to meet this year's challenges head on. I'm proud of what our movement has accomplished this year, and as we look towards 2021, I'm glad to know that so many Americans are ready to join the fight for progress.

However you're able to celebrate, I hope you're able to have a safe, restful holiday with your loved ones. Tomorrow, the fight continues.
