Dear Friend,

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. Being with family, sharing a meal and sitting around catching up with no gift-giving stress. Plus you can wear a comfy sweater. This year my Thanksgiving catching up will have to happen through a screen and I am going to make it work because I still want to share the spirit of gratitude. That spirit is why I am emailing you today.

We’ve faced unprecedented challenges this year both as individuals and as Americans for Safe Access and can I say, on behalf of the whole ASA team, that we are so grateful for all of our supporters who have helped us through this year. Your continued support has meant so much to us even as we faced obstacles throughout the year.

When we were forced to revamp our Annual Unity Conference into an online event we were met with consideration and kindness by our participants, speakers, and sponsors. Even as belts were tightening we continued to see donations from many of our long term supporters. We even see new folks becoming members and joining this fight every day.

We want you to know that we feel enormously privileged to be able to continue fighting for safe access and that is all thanks to our supporters.

So in the spirit of gratitude we thank you for sticking with us in 2020 and we look forward to fighting alongside you in 2021. We have some big plans and we hope you’ll be a part of them.
