Happy Thanksgiving to everyone, even those sneaking around having underground secret Thanksgiving dinners with family and friends - You naughty people.
One of the most, if not the most, important part of the Pilgrim’s story is a document known as the Mayflower Compact. The 200 word compact set down principles by which people could govern themselves. The Mayflower Compact influenced the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the United States. Many look on the Mayflower Compact as the first constitution ever
written.
On Friday, November 19th, a few of Joe Biden’s talking heads were floating the idea of mandatory gun buy backs. That is gun confiscation pure and simple. It is hard to buy back what you never owned. Confiscation is high on Biden’s agenda. Biden is looking for cabinet members. I suggest he stop by the Muppets. They would have a lot of good candidates.
Sometimes left-wing liberals make statements so dumb that it causes an instant migraine headache. Such is the case with Wauwatosa, Wisconsin Mayor Dennis McBride. In a shopping mall in Wauwatosa, there was a shooting that injured eight people. The mall is a gun free zone. “If the shooter had complied with the policy, no one would have been hurt yesterday,” said the Mayor the next
day. Well Mayor, if criminals didn’t do criminal things, they wouldn’t be criminals would they. The mayor went on to spout pablum puking platitudes about justice, equality and supporting the police. It would be laughable if the facts didn’t point out there were enough nitwits in Wauwatosa to elect this guy.
Watching as Joe Biden picks his Cabinet and advisors is as scary as any horror movie I ever saw. In 1980, one of the biggest movies that year was “The Empire Strikes Back”. If someone makes a movie about 2020, the title should be “The Swamp Strikes Back”. Every swamp creature seems to be slithering out from under their respective rocks to get in line for some government job
which will be to the detriment of law-abiding hard working American citizens. If you will recall, Joe Biden was Obama’s point man for gun control. There is no question that Biden & company are going to try to use Executive Orders to clamp down on firearms and firearm owners.
The Senate battles in Georgia are critical for gun owners. Democrat Rev. Raphael Warnock is certainly no friend of ours. Democrat Jon Ossoff is portraying himself as a Second Amendment candidate. He is a Trojan horse. If you look at the background of some of these people, beware if they were educated in a foreign country. Ossoff was educated at Georgetown. One of his instructors
was Madeleine Albright, one of the poster girls for the Washington D.C. swamp. Worse yet, Ossoff received a Master’s Degree
from the London School of Economics where everyone receives daily doses of socialism. Another one to watch for is being a Rhodes Scholar. Cecil Rhodes was a “one World Government apostle. President Bill Clinton attended Oxford University where Rhodes Scholars are educated. People who attend foreign universities are immersed in socialist philosophy. Not that the same thing
doesn’t happen here in the United States but over there it is worse.

November 26, 1941 - President Franklin Roosevelt signs the Bill codifying the fourth Thursday in November as Thanksgiving.
November 26, 1933 - A mob of vigilantes stormed the jail in San Jose, California, where Thomas Thurmond and John Holmes were being held for the kidnapping and murder of Brooke Hart, the 22 year old son of a local store owner. The enraged citizens lynched both Thurmond and Holmes. The plan was well known and was even broadcast by local radio stations. Governor Rolph reportedly said he would pardon
anyone in the mob who was convicted. California has changed since 1933.
December 1, 1824 - The Presidential Election goes to the United States House of Representatives. There were four candidates in 1824. None received a majority. In accordance with the 12th Amendment, the U. S. House is to decide. Each State gets one vote. Andrew Jackson was chosen.
December 2, 1823 - President James Monroe declares the Monroe Doctrine. The Monroe Doctrine forbade European interference in both the Northern and Southern American hemispheres. The Monroe Doctrine was primarily the work of John Quincy Adams. Both Monroe and Adams were watching the European powers lust for colonies around the world. Europe considered the United States to be an upstart
nation. Still, they remembered the United States had twice defeated the British Army which was considered the most powerful army in the world at that time. The last battle of the War of 1812 was fresh in the European’s mind. The Battle of New Orleans shook Great Britain and the rest of Europe. The British had 7500 trained troops. General Jackson had 4500 troops and militia. In a half an hour the British General was dead and 2000 of his troops were
killed, wounded or missing. The Americans suffered eight killed and 13 wounded. The United States sent a clear message to the rest of the world.
