Dear Friend,
On behalf of the staff and board of the Secular Coalition for America, I want to express our gratitude for everything you have done to support our work. When I look back at this past year, I am reminded how much our advocacy here in Washington depends on the generosity and dedication of grassroots supporters like you. Looking ahead to the opportunities and challenges of 2021, I am grateful to know that we can count on you to stand with us as we continue to fight for our shared secular values.
As we come together with our family and friends for Thanksgiving this year, it will be a little different than our normal routine of close, festive gatherings. It is my hope that Americans will enjoy the holiday and reconnect with friends and family, but also follow the safety guidelines issued by the CDC for social gatherings during the holidays. By following the science, and doing our part, we can all save lives and prevent further spread of the virus. According to our public health officials, a vaccine is just around the corner. Let's make these last few months count to ensure a healthier environment for 2021!
I want to thank you again for your commitment to defending the wall of separation between church and state, and for everything you’ve done to help preserve the foundation on which all our freedoms depend. This Thanksgiving, I am thankful to know that I can count on your continued support.
Wishing you and yours a health and happy Thanksgiving.
