Give Thanks and Rejoice in Him!
This year has been filled with tragedies, challenges, and hardships like few of us have ever experienced.
First, let me say to all of you who have experienced death, illness, or financial hardship due to COVID-19, may God bless you and heal you as we wait for the virus to subside.
That will not give us back what we have lost, but it gives us hope.
It is important to remember on this day of Thanksgiving that although we have experienced a year like no other, there is much for which to be grateful and thankful.
For me, that means my family. Through all of the challenges of running for office and working in Washington while fighting cancer, my wife and family have stood by me, supported me, and shown me unconditional love and devotion.
I'm also grateful for all of you, my prayerful friends and supporters. To everyone who has prayed for God to heal me, keep me strong, and keep me positive as I have faced cancer, words are too small to describe what you mean to me or what you have done for my family. Thank you.
And, of course, I am thankful for America. It is the greatest force for good, and the greatest place to live, this world has ever known!
To you and your family, I hope this Thanksgiving is filled with laughter, cheer, and appreciation for all that is good and great in your life!
Nothing can defeat the American spirit or the hearts of the faithful...not even 2020!
God bless,
