I’ve had a ton of friends reach out to me and ask what they should be doing to help us win the runoffs in Georgia and flip the Senate blue.
There’s so much at stake with these two elections. If Jon Ossoff and Rev. Raphael Warnock don’t win, Mitch McConnell will keep control of the chamber. He’ll endlessly frustrate our agenda -- but he doesn’t have that power yet. We still have time to stop him.
One of the most important things you can do is to volunteer for a texting shift with Black Voters Matter >> [link removed], a crucial social justice organization doing great work to expand voting rights and empower Georgia communities.
You might also consider volunteering with the Georgia Democrats >> [link removed] -- there are remote opportunities available, and any time you have to give would go a long way toward safeguarding the future of the Senate and the future of the country.
The eyes of the world -- and the GOP -- are on this race, John. As POLITICO recently reported, “Joe Biden turned Georgia blue. Compared to what they’re up against now, that was the easy part for Democrats.”
