Dear Friend,
In this season of Thanksgiving, we are reminded not just to thank others, but to be thankful for the blessings of this country.
To paraphrase Governor Wilbur Cross in his 1936 Thanksgiving proclamation: we have come by a way that we did not know to the end of another year—and I am thankful to have come this way with you.
Although this year we may not be able to be surrounded by family and friends, I am thankful to have my health, happiness, and the privilege to continue to serve our community.
And my thanks to all of you, whether you volunteered, made calls, donated, filled and mailed letters, or supported me in any other way—know that I am grateful to have you by my side as we work toward a more prosperous community.
