Ken Calvert for Congress

Despite everything we've been through this year, we still have
much to be thankful for.

Hi Fellow patriot -

To say this year has been tough would be the understatement of a
lifetime. And I know it doesn't help that pandemic restrictions
are making celebrating Thanksgiving difficult for many of us.

But even though politicians can try to take away Thanksgiving
celebrations, they can't take away the spirit of the holiday.

Despite everything we've been through this year, we still have
much to be thankful for.

I am grateful to live in this great nation and for the comforts,
freedoms, opportunities and security we can enjoy here. And even
as these are often under attack, I am grateful for the right we
all have to stand up and fight for what we believe and wish to
protect.

I am grateful for the many men and women in uniform - military
and public safety - who have fought and worked to protect us and
our nation, especially those who have lost their lives in the
line of duty. Let us not forget that many of these brave
individuals will still be away from home fulfilling this duty
while we're stuffing ourselves with turkey.

I am also grateful for the support I receive from you and the the
trust that the voters of my district have placed in me once again
to represent and fight for them in Congress.

However you are celebrating Thanksgiving this year, I encourage
you to take time to see through the gloom of 2020 and find things
to be grateful for. I think you'll find there is more than you
realize.

Happy Thanksgiving!

For freedom,

Rep. Ken Calvert

California
