Dear Friend,

I know this Thanksgiving may look a lot different for many of us this year. Now, it's more important than ever to reach out to our friends, neighbors, and family members to remind ourselves that we are a part of a community, regardless of how we celebrate this year.

I'm reaching out to share a few things I’m grateful for this Thanksgiving:

First and foremost, I’m thankful for the thousands of Rhode Islanders who have put their lives at risk to serve their communities – our frontline and essential workers, our grocery store clerks and teachers, our doctors and nurses, the Rhode Island National Guard, and so many others.

I’m thankful for the strength and resiliency of every Rhode Islander, and the small acts of kindness I see every day when community members come together to support each other through these tough times.

And I’m grateful for friends and supporters like you, without whom I could not continue the crucial work I do as Rhode Island’s Treasurer, fighting for a secure retirement future for our state employees, increased economic opportunity for all Rhode Islanders, and a chance for everyone in the state – regardless of where they live, who they are, or what they do – to have a fair shot at the American dream.

Wishing you and yours a safe and healthy Thanksgiving.

All my best,
Seth
