John,

I wanted to send you a quick note ahead of tomorrow. No politics or fundraising -- just my sincere gratitude and thanks for all you’ve done.

This year has been unlike any in my lifetime, John. Between a global pandemic, economic crisis, and contentious election season -- like you, I’m ready to move forward toward a brighter future for North Texas and our nation.

But in the midst of some of our greatest challenges, I am so proud of our community and how so many have risen to meet the moment. To our North Texas health care workers, first responders, teachers, volunteers, truck drivers, postal workers, restaurant workers and countless others -- you are what I am most thankful for this year!

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for everything you do to keep our neighbors and families safe during this unprecedented time.
