Dear Friend,

This year brought unprecedented challenges for us, our loved ones, and our communities. All of our lives have been touched by sickness, financial uncertainty, pain, and loss, but we continue to face these challenges with the courage of the human spirit.

Today, as we observe the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women and Girls and as many in the United States plan for a Thanksgiving holiday unlike any before and struggle to find reasons to be grateful, we thank you. Thank you for your bravery, for believing in survivors, and for taking a stand against oppression.

Together, we are building brave spaces by imagining a world where violence against women and girls is no longer an issue, and where life without violence becomes a reality for all.
