Dear John,
Religious freedom is the freedom from which all the other freedoms guaranteed to us by the Constitution "flow." That's why it must be protected.
Even and especially during a pandemic, churches are essential. They do essential work in communities, and churches all across the state have shown that they can meet safely in person if they wish to do so without endangering their members or the community.
At Minnesota Family Council, we're working hard to protect religious freedom and make sure that churchgoers in Minnesota have their freedom defended from government overreach. This is crucial work, and that's why I'm asking you to #GiveForFreedom.
Giving Tuesday is coming up, and as you and your family make decisions about gifts and decorations, take a moment to think about how precious it is to have the freedom to worship and to live out your faith in other ways.
When that freedom is under threat, Minnesotans know to turn to Minnesota Family Council & Institute and our new legal arm, True North Legal.
We need your support to make sure that religious freedom is protected in Minnesota. Your tax-deductible gift of $25, $50, or $100 is an investment in the future of freedom in our state. So please, join with me and #GiveForFreedom!
P.S. Many folks are beginning their holiday shopping this week, as Black Friday and Cyber Monday approach.
