John, I want to wish you and your family a safe and happy Thanksgiving.
This year especially, I know many of us are grateful for our health and the health of our friends and family. Let’s also remember to express our sincere gratitude for the health care heroes and frontline workers who are putting their lives on the line to protect the rest of us and to keep our country running during an incredibly difficult time.
As we begin the holiday season, my thoughts are also with the families that aren’t able to celebrate over a Zoom video call because they have lost a loved one to COVID-19. Too many have endured tremendous loss this year.
While I know it’s difficult to not be with our loved ones over the holiday, we all want to celebrate together next year and for many years to come. Unfortunately, the virus doesn’t recognize the holiday season or understand that this is just a one time thing. So please -- follow the CDC’s guidelines for the holiday season and the guidance of health care professionals and experts and stay safe this holiday season.
Have a safe and happy Thanksgiving,
TC
