This holiday season is different from most, as our celebrations become smaller and more disconnected.
But that can’t stop us from expressing our sincere appreciation to those who made 2020 better, and that includes you, Friend.
This season always leads me to consider what I’m grateful for, and I’m writing to send my deepest and most sincere thanks your way. For your belief in our mission, and support of our work, I have nothing to say but thank you, truly.
Thanks to your partnership this year, Waterkeeper Alliance fought in court and on the water to stop the illegal rollbacks of national environmental protections and to restore our nation’s waters.
We’re holding Disney accountable as they move to build a massive cruise ship port in a pristine corner of the Bahamas.
We worked with local partners to fight a series of proposed dams on Peru’s Marañón River, a major tributary to the Amazon.
And, after a decade of work with local Waterkeepers and partners, we secured the largest coal ash cleanup in America to date.
This is the work of many: lawyers, activists, and you, Friend, for never wavering in your belief in clean water — and our shared ability to attain it.
