It’s been a rough year, but come Thanksgiving Day, I can assure you of this:

I’ll be thanking God for you. Your support for the work of Shared Hope has saved lives.

In the chaos of the COVID crisis, predators have seized the moment — taking advantage of virtual distance learning to lure children and youth spending more hours online than ever before.

Predators are leveraging every possible online channel: mobile apps, social media, chat, email, and websites, via phones, tablets, video game consoles — the list goes on. 

The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children shared in July that reports to their CyperTipline were up more than 90% between January and June 2020 over the same period last year.

It is heartbreaking — but it is happening. Which makes our Internet Safety campaign urgently important.

We’ve got to reach more children and families with crucial tools and information about the tactics of traffickers — before it’s too late.
