Hello,
POLITICO just gave some unsettling insight into the Trump administration's plans for these last 2 months of his presidency:
"Even as President Donald Trump refused to concede to President-elect Joe Biden, [Chief of Staff] Meadows was asking aides on the call to give him three goals by the end of the week that could be accomplished by Biden's inauguration, according to two people briefed on the conversation. Since then, staffers have compiled a list of roughly 15 moves they could make through executive orders, executive actions or finalizing agency rules that they plan to pursue in the coming days, according to interviews with three administration officials."
This would include executive orders and regulations on immigration, trade, China, health care, and school choice.
When we say Democrats need to stay engaged even after the election, friend, this is EXACTLY what we mean.
Just because Trump is on his way out doesn't mean Republicans are powerless. This is the EXACT kind of obstructionism they tried under Obama, and it looks like they're wasting no time picking up where they left off. But our supporters are dropping off, likely because many of them see the fight as being won -- it's not; we promise. If you agree, will you stand with us now? Let us know:
Will you continue caring after Trump is out of office?
