Have you donated on Giving Tuesday in the past? Created in 2012 as a simple idea: Giving Tuesday is a day that encourages people to do good. It has since grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give and celebrate generosity. Never before has it been as important as this year!

Now we’re in the year 2020: where the gift of giving really matters. Will you help support LGBTIQ people around the world?

It has been a special year indeed. While we thought we would celebrate our 30th anniversary and continue to advance human rights for LGBTIQ people around the world, instead we got the pandemic. And rose to do some of our best work.  We researched the impact of Covid on LGBTIQ communities in real-time and released a research report in less than two months. We launched the largest global LGBTIQ emergency fund which to date has provided grants to 121 organizations in 64 countries, reaching over 50,000 people. 

Can you help us do more?

While Giving Tuesday itself is an entire day dedicated to fundraising, you can donate early and give us a head start on our goal to raise $30,000, in honor of our 30th Anniversary, for our fight for global LGBTIQ equality.

Next week stay tuned to hear from the individuals that are working alongside OutRight, their own stories, and how the landscape has changed from OutRight’s founding in 1990 to now in 2020. You will also learn about OutRight's adaptability and strength during this year's hardships. We used our 30 years of experience to launch the biggest global Covid Emergency Fund for LGBTIQ people. So far we have given out almost 1 million dollars to 121 organizations in 63 countries, reaching over 50,000 individuals.
