Friend,

Thanksgiving is a time to reflect and be grateful for the friends, family, and communities that nourish us.

For me, I am incredibly thankful for all of your hard work over the last year to protect our democracy.

Change isn’t easy, and money and power were both stacked against us.

But that didn’t stop you. When all was on the line, you came through and stepped up when it mattered most.

The forces of authoritarianism had access to unlimited special interest money, but that still wasn’t enough to stop the power of our text messages, phone calls, and small-dollar donations.

I’m also thankful that you have given me the honor of serving the families of New York. We have a lot of work to do, and it’s not always going to be easy. But we’ve just proven that we can do great things together, and I couldn’t be more thankful.

I hope you have a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving.
