John –
As you may have noticed, the gun violence prevention movement is getting
stronger.
Just last week, 145 CEOs from America's leading companies sent a letter to
the U.S. Senate demanding background checks on all gun sales and a strong
Red Flag law. Meanwhile, our volunteers succeeded in getting the nation's
biggest grocery store chains to stand up for gun safety. The evidence is
clear: the culture around gun safety in our country is shifting in our
favor.
That's why we need your help to keep the momentum going. These victories
were only possible because of the volunteers who put in the work -
sometimes over the course of several years - to get major corporations to
prioritize gun safety. [ [link removed] ]Get involved today and join a Moms Demand Action

Our fight to get the country's corporate leaders to stand up for gun
safety is both far from new and far from being over.
We've been at this for six years - in 2013, we won our first corporate
victory by pressuring Starbucks to stop allowing guns in its stores. Since
then, we've ramped up the pressure with our #GroceriesNotGuns campaign,
moving multiple national grocery store chains to update their open carry
policies just this month. As our movement has grown, so too has our list
of victories.
Ever since we convinced Starbucks to change its corporate policy regarding
gun safety, we've gotten companies, including the ones listed below, to
take similar steps:
Albertson's Companies
ALDI
Brinker International (Chili’s Bar and Grill and Maggiano's)
Chipotle
CVS
Dierbergs
Giant Eagle
Jack in the Box
Kroger
Meijer
New Seasons Market
Publix
Schnucks
Sonic Drive-In
Sprouts Farmers Market
The Fresh Market
Target
Trader Joe's
Walgreens
Walmart
Wegmans
Whataburger
Corporate America is taking a stand because the culture around gun safety
is shifting. By putting in years of work, volunteers, survivors, and gun
violence prevention advocates have helped make that change happen.
That's why I hope you will take the next step in joining this movement by
becoming involved with Moms Demand Action. We need your help to make sure
that our nation's corporate and political leaders treat gun safety as a
priority. [ [link removed] ]Join your local Moms Demand Action chapter today and be a

We've come far in six years. Let's keep going.
