Christmas at the Crossroads 

2020 has been no ordinary year. Women have had to lean on each other in ways we never have before, simply to make it through. We have learned the power of collective action. That’s why Fawcett will be sharing the money we raise through our Christmas appeal with Women for Refugee Women. Because we are stronger when we work together. 

We stand at a Coronavirus Crossroads on women's rights and gender equality. Our #Makewomenvisible campaign has shown how the coronavirus pandemic has hit women hard. And it has been especially difficult for refugee and asylum-seeking women. The team at Women for Refugee Women are hard to ensure that women in their network receive essential access to hardship support, advice, and therapeutic support, while also staying connected with the team and their friends and family.  

With solidarity we can move forwards, not backwards.
