Now that Election Day is behind us and Donald Trump has been defeated, my colleagues and I are setting our sights on the future.

I look forward to working with a Biden-Harris administration to undo the damage of the Trump White House, build our economy back from the COVID-19 pandemic, and begin to move our country in the right direction.

Over the past four years, Donald Trump and his Republican allies have attacked vulnerable communities, chipped away at progress and equality, and made a mockery of our democratic institutions. Even now, they continue to push baseless claims of voter fraud and refuse to concede the election they lost fair and square.

But Americans spoke up and chose to turn the page on Donald Trump.

With Joe Biden and Kamala Harris in the White House, I look forward to a return to science, decency, compassion, and justice. I look forward to expanding healthcare access, revitalizing our economy, rejoining the Paris climate accords, and more.
