John

Word is getting out that we need to be ready to fight new efforts to
increase or add new taxes on home heating oil and gasoline in Maine.

It appears that the obsession of national Democrats to tax the fuels we
need to survive in Maine is trickling down to liberals in the Maine
Legislature.

We need to be ready to take a stand and speak loudly with one voice that
Maine people cannot afford any more heating oil and gas taxes.

Remember earlier this year when

**Speaker Sara Gideon cosponsored a new 40 cent per gallon tax on gas
and heating oil?**
We crippled that effort, but if we're not vigilant - they will try
it again.

Please add your voice to our movement to oppose new heating oil and gas
taxes. Many Mainers struggle to heat their homes and travel to work as
it is.

Click here to add your voice and tell us how new taxes will impact you.

With your permission (on the form) we will share your story with your
first name and town - we need to show these liberal legislators that
they will hurt real people by taking orders from their national party
bosses.

Sincerely,

Dr. Demi Kouzounas
Chair
Maine GOP

P.S. - If you could share the page at the link with friends and family
on social media, it would be a HUGE help. We need as many voices as we
can add to this effort. We can't afford more Green New Deal style
policies in Maine.
