Hello,

President-elect Joe Biden has previously said he won't pardon Donald Trump if the question arises. But he might have to reconsider that stance if he has any true hope of "healing our nation."

According to NBC News, many Democrats will demand "investigations into an array of issues involving Trump -- from his administration's child separation policy to his taxes, possible conflicts of interest and potential violations of campaign finance law."

While the decision to prosecute Trump will ultimately be up to Biden's attorney general, NBC reports, "Biden has raised concerns that investigations would further divide a country he is trying to unite and risk making every day of his presidency about Trump." The best way to mitigate that risk? Pardoning Donald Trump, appeasing the over 73 million Americans who voted for him, and letting the one-term president peacefully retire to his golf courses.

It is more than optimistic to say Trump will lay low if he is pardoned, but some might be considering this as the best way to end Trump's influence on our political system. Do you agree? Please, tell us now what you think:
