But instead, Sergio’s killing spree continues because authorities refuse to take animal cruelty seriously. Now they are turning a ‘blind eye’ to this savage.

Honestly, I was even shocked to overhear one of the detectives on the scene say: “there’s nothing wrong with slaughtering animals.”

But there is. Horses and other animals are being stabbed in the heart and tormented before merciless butchers cut into their flesh... while they are still alive.

Can you imagine the excruciating pain and fear?

I don’t need to imagine it, because I was there. And the sights, sounds, and smells of these horrors will haunt me forever. But that’s why ARM is here.

I’m ready to double down our efforts with boots on the ground, maintain the pressure on Miami-Dade Police and the Attorney General, and keep exposing the truth through mainstream media about this horrible killer.

He is a danger to animals, people, and society at large!

Time and time again I have presented horse slaughter cases directly into law enforcement and prosecutors’ hands.

I even co-wrote and created legislation to protect horses from criminals, like Sergio, to shut down this heinous industry. My intention was for enforcement agencies and prosecutors to utilize this law and send horse killers to jail.

With all of this, authorities are still not making arrests, and I can only question, WHY?

Just look at the criminal activities that we captured Sergio and his thugs guilty of doing:

• SELLING HORSE MEAT: Sergio and his butchers frequently bragged about killing horses and even shared how to season and cook the meat.
• VIOLENTLY KILLED ANIMALS: Other farm animals such as goats, sheep, pigs, and birds are also being sold and butchered for human consumption illegally.
• DEALING FIREARMS AND DRUGS: Sergio was documented snorting cocaine before killing animals. On multiple occasions our undercover operatives were offered to purchase narcotics and firearms.

But still, no arrests.

URGENT: Every hour that goes by reduces our chance for justice. But dedicating every minute to taking down animal abusers doesn’t come easily or cheaply.

You see, our investigations that bring killers like Sergio Rivera into the spotlight can continue for years. We are at a critical point where inaction can mean these animal killers are free to roam our streets.

These campaigns are physically, emotionally, and financially exhausting. And ARM can only take down as many of these killers as we can afford.
