It took three weeks, and pressure from millions of Americans like you. The GSA decision ends a standoff that threatened our national security and our public health. But President Trump is STILL refusing to concede and is in courts right now trying to overturn the will of the voters and disenfranchise millions of Americans. Trump’s refusal to concede goes against the very principles this country was founded on. Donald Trump lost the election fair and square. He lost both the popular vote and the electoral college with an indisputable margin. And yet, Trump refuses to concede the election and has plunged our nation into a state of chaos and uncertainty.
Right now, Gerry is leading the drive to initiate a peaceful transfer of power by demanding the Government Services Administration certify the already-clear election results so that the Biden administration can start preparing for the transition. But Gerry can’t do this alone -- he’s going to need you, and the rest of Team Connolly, to stand with him. And time is of the essence -- the sooner the Biden administration can start planning, the better prepared they will be to begin tackling COVID-19 and building back our economy the second they take over.
