** Learn to Make Your Own Winter Bike Accessories

Our annual Balaclavas and Baklava event is back, and we’re going virtual! We are partnering with WalkArlington and the Arlington Public Library once again for this year’s virtual event where we will be teaching you how to make your own Balaclava. Balaclavas are head coverings that are perfect for keeping your head and face warm on those tough winter rides. All you will need is some fleece material and a needle and thread--we will guide you through the rest.

** Ride More with a Customized Route

Interested in biking more but unsure about a safe route? Or maybe you already ride frequently but have an intersection that you would like to avoid? Check out our Customized Route tool where we will personally design a route to fit your needs. Whether that means avoiding a hill or sticking mostly to separated paths, we will work with you to find your ideal custom route.

** Heads Up: Capital Bikeshare Stations and Closures

Be sure to check your Capital Bikeshare app before heading out over the coming weeks. Capital Bikeshare will be closing some stations temporarily around Crystal City for maintenance and upgrade work. Also be on the lookout for stations popping up at new locations around the area soon.
