Democratic Senate candidate Raphael Warnock – a progressive champion who serves as senior pastor of Ebenezer Baptist Church, the former pulpit of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. – is calling her out:
“Senator Loeffler is now attacking members of her own party for following the will of the people. It is irresponsible and dangerous to undermine faith in our democracy because some politicians don’t like the results. This political stunt means additional delay for a smooth transition of power at a time when Georgians need relief. Amid a once in a century pandemic and a statewide economic crisis, we do not have time for cynical political games. The people of Georgia have spoken.”
