BATON ROUGE, LA – Baton Rouge Police Department Deputy Chief Troy Lawrence said in a Monday morning press conference that his department is looking for a “person of interest”.

That individual is also described as a good Samaritan ([link removed]) who shot and killed the man who had just shot and killed a cell phone store owner last Friday.

Lawrence said that the shooter “did an awesome job” when he took down the murderous robber, but also said it’s not clear whether that person could face charges or whether he was justified in his decision to pull the trigger. According to police, the woman was a caseworker at the apartment building, which is operated by Plymouth Housing and serves formerly homeless people.
