ty holds the Senate majority next year. The Senate is currently split 50 Re=
publicans to 48 Democrats. The remaining two seats will be decided by run-o=
ff elections; right now, both seats are held by Republicans.

=E2=80=A2 Georgia has already received more than 750,000 absentee ballot r=
equests for the January 5th election. As of Monday, the total was 762,000 -=
- and will likely only increase.

=E2=80=A2 Unlike some states, Georgia did not automatically send ballots t=
o all registered voters and will not do so for the January 5th election; in=
stead, voters must request absentee ballots.

=E2=80=A2 The Georgia State Election Board also voted this week to allow s=
ecure, "24/7 monitored drop boxes" to be used for ballot collection for the=
January 5th election. Those were in place for the 2020 presidential electi=

presidential election results this morning. The recount will continue for t=
he next week and must be finished by next Wednesday, December 2. The Trump =

• Georgia has already received more than 750,000 absentee ballot requests for the January 5th election. As of Monday, the total was 762,000 -- and will likely only increase.

• Unlike some states, Georgia did not automatically send ballots to all registered voters and will not do so for the January 5th election; instead, voters must request absentee ballots.

• The Georgia State Election Board also voted this week to allow secure, "24/7 monitored drop boxes" to be used for ballot collection for the January 5th election. Those were in place for the 2020 presidential election, too.

• Georgia started its third count -- and second recount -- of the presidential election results this morning. The recount will continue for the next week and must be finished by next Wednesday, December 2. The Trump campaign had requested the recount over the weekend.

• Georgia previously finished a by-hand recount of the presidential race. During that re-count, almost 6,000 previously un-tallied ballots were discovered <[link removed]> , and President Trump picked up roughly 2,000 votes in the state results. However, Joe Biden still remained ahead.

• There is also a recount underway in two counties in Wisconsin. Right now, the recount there hasn't been in the headlines, but 386 previously un-tallied ballots were reportedly discovered today <[link removed]> . The margin between President Trump and Joe Biden in the state is currently 20,600 votes.
