We’re thankful for you and your continued support!
John,
As we approach the end of the year, I’d like to take time to reflect back and share with you what this past year has meant to me.
John, you are amazing, heroic, visionary, caring and generous.
This year, through all the ups and downs, you continued to take action to fight for what you believe in. Whether you signed petitions, sent emails and texts to your elected representatives, made calls to Congressional leaders or donated to help power the fight for our food, water and planet, you made a difference and never gave up.
And working for you — and alongside you — this past year, to protect our communities and our planet, is something I’m immensely thankful for.
It’s thanks to your support that we were able to persevere in fights all over the country as we worked to protect our food, water and climate. Together we:
Fought to stop Big Oil & Gas from fracking our public lands — including Chaco Canyon;
Led the fight to stop water shutoffs across the country, helping protect 220 million Americans;
Pressured the EPA to immediately ban dangerous pesticides that are killing bees and endangering our food supply;
Fought to enforce basic safety protocols and provide safety equipment for the people who process and inspect our food, to protect their health and help stop the spread of the coronavirus;
Stopped a fracked gas power plant in the environmental justice community of Kearny, New Jersey;
Fought to ban factory farms, promoted sustainable food production and built up the next generation of small and mid-size family farmers; and
Overturned all of Merrion Oil and Gas's local permitting in eastern Pennsylvania.
It’s clear that this year you’ve made a massive impact to protect our food, water, and climate. You’ve protected lives. And on behalf of every ecosystem, every animal, every person and every community you’ve helped this year, THANK YOU! We are so grateful for you, John!
Onward together,
