Today marks the 3-month anniversary of Jamaal's launch and the Justice Democrats couldn't be prouder of endorsing Jamaal Bowman for Congress.

As someone who has built a public school from the ground up and served his community for many years, Jamaal is the type of leader we need in Washington. He's not a career politician—he's a middle school principal who dedicated his life to making sure kids have the chance to succeed. And that is exactly what he will do when we elect him to Congress.

Our staff works tirelessly to empower the kind of people running for office who aren't going to accept middle-of-the-road, milquetoast centrism anymore. The Justice Democrats made real change happen with AOC in 2018, and we are going to do the same thing in 2020 with Jamaal.

These leaders don't have to be the exception in Congress – they can be the norm with grassroots support from people just like you. Jamaal's opponent has powerful establishment interests and a war chest of corporate PAC money to draw from, but he doesn't have you or the thousands of other progressives by his side.
