This summer, in the wake of the murders of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Tony McDade, and countless others, 25 million people took to the streets to condemn state and vigilante violence against Black and Brown people.
In the midst of a pandemic that is disproportionately impacting people of color, these Black-led, multiracial uprisings for Black lives catalyzed the nation and inspired all of us.
These protests showed us that we need to get real about what it means to build power, and to transform policies.
For nearly 40 years, Race Forward has worked every day to dismantle racist systems, and to create a society in which people of color thrive with power and purpose.
