Next Tuesday, December 1, is Giving Tuesday. On this day we come together to show our commitment to fight for, and protect, the most marginalized in our community. That includes people living with HIV or AIDS.

This Giving Tuesday coincides with World AIDS Day, a day dedicated to raising awareness of the HIV epidemic. Globally, there are an estimated 38 million people living with HIV. People living with HIV are more likely to experience poverty, hardship, and inequalities. Yet, stigma and discrimination remain a reality for people living with the condition.

Equality Federation’s HIV Advocacy Program has been working for years to leverage LGBTQ advocacy power in strong partnerships with the people and organizations who are doing critical on-the-ground work on HIV/AIDS.
