I’m Nse Ufot, the CEO of The New Georgia Project, here with an exclusive update for March On Supporters.

As a strong progressive activist, you already know that Georgia’s runoff election on January 5, 2021 will determine the balance of the United States Senate. 

That means that Georgia voters have one more chance to make their voices heard at the polls, and the New Georgia Project Action Fund has an enormous amount of work to do.

We have registered nearly 500,000 Georgians to vote, but we need to close the gap on 10,000 more before the December 7th cutoff date in Georgia. We need your help today to make this happen.

The New Georgia Project Action Fund has been leading efforts across Georgia to register, educate, engage, and turn out voters of color in extraordinary numbers during the 2020 election season. We meet new voters where they are – online, in churches, on college campuses, and in their neighborhoods, safely – to share information about how to register and how to vote. We are turning new registrants into informed and engaged voters, many for the first time.

Can you chip in now to get out the vote and flip the Senate blue?

Between now and December 7th, The New Georgia Project Action Fund and March On will stay focused on registering voters statewide to participate in the January 5th runoff, with a goal of registering over 10,000 new voters. 

To help, we need you to donate to the New Georgia Project to increase voter registration. With a new voter registration deadline of December 7, we must act now to get first-time voters registered.
