This year has been a moment of pause and adjustment for many of us, including Team #MediaJustice. The pandemic, struggle for racial justice, and election this year alone have highlighted and exacerbated the issues communities of color have faced for generations. 

Media justice is not a “now more than ever” movement—Team #MediaJustice and our 100+ MediaJustice Network members across the country have worked for more than a decade to build coalitions, amplify voices, and resist discriminatory policies. A change in administration doesn’t automatically secure our rights. It’s critical that our collective work to create structural change for racial, economic, and gender justice can continue deepening and expanding. 

In order to support and protect communities nationwide, Team #MediaJustice aims to raise $20,000 before the end of the year. Will you help ensure that we can respond, mobilize, and fight for justice?

Your donation will provide vital resources for organizing and advocacy work against disinformation, protecting internet access and Black dissent, and holding corporations and our government accountable. As Team #MediaJustice heads into 2021, we will continue to push for bold, collective solutions to reshape media and technology, building towards our vision of a future where everyone is connected, represented, and free.
