This week, we at Asian Americans Advancing Justice | AAJC would like to share our gratitude to you, a valued member of our Advancing Justice | AAJC family. Your support has helped us advance the civil and human rights for Asian Americans nationwide.
As we take the time to be thankful, we would like to remind you that we are one week away from #GivingTuesday, an annual international day of charitable giving to kick off the holiday season.
As part of the Advancing Justice | AAJC family, you have helped fight for the civil liberties of Asian Americans who would otherwise go unheard. The following are highlights from our work this past year:
Fought for family-based immigration policies to protect and reunite families
Hosted bystander intervention and anti-hate workshops with Hollaback! to over 15,000 people to combat anti-Asian/American harassment
Strengthened our anti-hate work by urging our community to report hate incidents/crimes through www.StandAgainstHatred.org
Organized a national campaign for the 2020 Census to ensure equitable representation of our communities and appropriation of resources
Empowered young AAPI leaders to advocate for their communities through civic engagement and with the federal government through our virtual Youth Leadership Summit
We can't thank you enough for your continued support. Of course, our work is far from done. It continues to be vital that our community is visible, and our voices are heard. Help us do even more in our fight to advance the civil and human rights of Asian Americans by supporting us this #GivingTuesday.
