Donald Trump's gag rule drove Planned Parenthood out of the Title X
family-planning program, resulting in the loss of tens of millions of
dollars.

Now family-planning clinics are reporting a "public health crisis" because
low-income patients are unable to access cancer screenings, STD testing
and treatment, and HIV services.(1)

Courage Campaign is supporting Planned Parenthood’s effort to repeal the
gag rule, but in the meantime, there’s a massive need to fill the funding
gap.

rule? Your donation will be split between Courage Campaign's work to end
the gag rule and Planned Parenthood, so they can keep providing the care
low income people count on.

Planned Parenthood, which serves four million low-income people a year, is
facing a $60 million shortfall in funding due to Trump’s family-planning
gag rule.(2) Now Planned Parenthood patients are facing longer lines and
higher fees, and other clinics in states that didn’t make up the funding
are closed down.(3)

Some clinics decided to stay open because they were the only health-care
provider of reproductive services in their counties. But under Trump’s gag
rule, these doctors cannot be affiliated with or refer patients to
abortion clinics -- or even provide information about the procedure at
all.(4)

For the majority of Title X patients, their Title X provider is their only
source of health care for obtaining birth control, mammograms, and STD
testing. And the clinics remaining in the programs need to expand their
caseloads by 70% to fill the gap caused by the gag rule.(5)

The U.S. is facing a public-health emergency under Trump's gag rule, and
we need to end it now.
