Will you face the freeze to help end homelessness?

One week to go! Will you face the freeze?

Hi John!
Our Icebreaker challenge begins one week from now! There's still time to sign up!

Each year we see hundreds of Crisis supporters brave the freeze to help end homelessness at our live Icebreakers across the country. Given the recent lockdown announcements, instead we are asking you to take on the Icebreaker challenge your way!

Face the freeze in fancy dress, choose a Christmas day dip or see in the New Year with an icy splash, whatever chills you out. Your support will provide access to Crisis' year-round services that can help transform lives and end homelessness for good.

You can take on the DIY Icebreaker from your home, or outside, however you like, whenever you like. The choice is yours.

If you think you can face the freeze, here are some ideas to get you started!
  • Commit to a month of cold showers
  • Take a dip in the sea, if your local or national restrictions allow at the time
  • Dig out that paddling pool you bought during the heatwave, and take an icy plunge
  • Get your household together for a cold water fight in the garden
  • Check out these health benefits of cold water and see where your imagination takes you!
Sign up now!
Your £10 registration fee provides someone with a warm welcome to Crisis and helps them take the first steps out of homelessness.

In return, we will send you a Crisis Swimming Cap and Icebreaker badge to wear with pride during your Icebreaker challenge, along with advice and support along the way.
Health & Safety
Due to the coronavirus, we have updated our cold water tips and safety guidance for this event.

While it's unfortunate we cannot hold our live jump-ins in London due to the current pandemic, the DIY Icebreaker means you can still face the freeze, and help raise funds for Crisis, your way!

Please read through our guidance and FAQs for more information on how to take part in this Crisis event safely and responsibly.
