Friend,

Since the pandemic first struck, younger workers have been hit the hardest with unemployment rates double that of older workers. And younger workers of color have fared even worse.

If Congress is unable to pass additional COVID relief legislation, younger workers―many of whom were left out of the first round of COVID relief―will be set back for years to come.

Watch and share this new video from EPI’s Melat Kassa, which discusses the economic impact the COVID-19 recession has and may continue to have on workers ages 16-24.

Every day, EPI is fighting for the rights and wages of working people. Right now, we need a massive investment in workers, families, businesses and communities as we enter what is likely the most difficult stretch of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Donate to EPI today to fight for a $2 trillion COVID-relief package followed by additional investments to protect working families, younger workers, and communities hit hardest by the pandemic.

Thank you for all that you do to lift up those most in need.
