John,
In 2020, we saw record gun sales— more than 2 million guns were purchased between April and June, amidst pandemic fear and public unrest in our country. But we also saw incredible strides made in Brady’s vital work across Congress, courts, and communities. I am so proud of my Brady team and what we have been able to accomplish in an unexpected world.
Our End Family Fire campaign remains essential to educating gun owners about the dangers of guns in the home, especially with so many new gun owners living under unprecedented stress. Our legal team delivered victories across the country, including one that was 15 years in the making. We are actively working in communities in California, New Jersey, and Wisconsin to stop the flow of crime guns.
As our critical partner, I am thrilled to share our Annual Report and our 2020 End-of-Year Electoral Report with you. In it, where you will find the many accomplishments that we have been able to achieve with your help. We have so much to celebrate and be thankful for this year, and we couldn’t have done it without you.
Let’s be clear: Brady’s critical and life-saving work to end gun violence in all forms is not possible without you. It is only with your support that we can continue our multifaceted work across Congress, courts, and communities to save American lives and end our nation’s egregious gun violence epidemic. Our goal at Brady is to reduce gun deaths 25% by 2025. Thanks to our incredible donors like you, we know we can do it.
Thank you for your support — past, present, and future. Please read our achievements and savor them: You have fueled our fight to end gun violence this year, and I hope you take the time to appreciate what we’ve been able to accomplish together.
