Friend --

J Street is thrilled to announce our partnership with the Other Israel
Film Festival, which will be held virtually this year from December 3-10.

Just like J Street, the Other Israel Film Festival aims to inspire
nuanced, empathetic conversations, to challenge perspectives and
preconceptions and to drive individuals toward action and understanding.
The festival showcases a curation of films and documentaries exploring
Israeli and Palestinian stories, as well as panels discussing history,
culture, politics and identity.

[ [link removed] ]As part of our partnership, we’re pleased to offer J Street supporters
a 20% discount on all tickets at the festival with the coupon code:
JStreet20.

This year, J Street is sponsoring two documentary films at the festival.
Both are available to stream at any time throughout the festival, with a
scheduled Q&A with the filmmakers included in the ticket price.

‘Til Kingdom Come, Maya Zinshtein
Q&A: December 5, 2020 6:00pm Eastern
'Til Kingdom Come offers a deep look into the controversial bond between
Evangelicals and Jews, in a story of faith, power and money, revealing how
America’s Right is led by an end-times apocalyptic countdown.

Kings of Capitol Hill, Mor Loushy
Q&A: December 6, 2020 4:00pm Eastern
For the past 60 years, AIPAC has maintained a strict “no interview”
policy. Now, for the first time, its founding fathers are speaking out,
granting full access to the untold story of the organization and the
relationship between Israel and the US.

Of course, our discount code will work for all films available at the
festival, including Objector, which follows young Israeli Atalya as she
defies her family and takes a stand as a conscientious objector to IDF
service; Crossings, which explores the lives soldiers serving at the
controversial West Bank checkpoints; and Mayor, a real-life political saga
following Musa Hadid, the Christian mayor of Ramallah, during his second
term in office.

Friend, as we settle in for a socially distanced holiday season,
I hope our partnership with the Other Israel Film Festival helps to
entertain, inform and provoke insightful discussions -- all from the
safety and comfort of our own homes.

Yours,

Christine Beresniova
Director of Education and Public Engagement

J Street is the political home for pro-Israel, pro-peace Americans who want
Israel to be secure, democratic and the national home of the Jewish people.
Working in American politics and the Jewish community, we advocate policies that
advance shared US and Israeli interests as well as Jewish and democratic values,
leading to a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
