Help the Washington Report on Middle East Affairs this #GivingTuesday
Our readers support truth in journalism and a principled foreign policy. This #GivingTuesday, we are seeking to strengthen that commitment.

The Washington Report’s critical mission for the past 38 years is to fight disinformation and propaganda pushed by both corporate and social media outlets. A growing number of Americans (all of whom should become subscribers ([link removed]) ) want to use our annual $3.8 billion in military aid to Israel to pressure the country to abide by U.N. Security Council resolutions and international law. Despite the U.S. Department of State’s recent announcement designating the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement as anti-Semitic, most Americans agree that using peaceful boycotts to end human rights violations is our First Amendment right. Help us educate more news consumers.

During this pandemic, when people are urged to stay home, please help Middle East Books and More ([link removed]) continue to mail books and solidarity items around the country and help us build for the post-pandemic future. The bookstore will showcase true Middle Eastern hospitality by adding a coffee shop, creating a vibrant gathering place where our community of students, retirees, peace activists, and Muslim, Christian and Jewish Americans can meet, join discussions and shop. Our application for a building permit is ready, but this project can’t happen without your donations!

This year has been difficult for all, but without your support and help the Washington Report and Middle East Books and More could succumb to the same blight that has hit small town and big city newspapers, as well as independent bookstores.
